Accreditation types

Chapter 6 of 21EnglishNederlands

An accreditation type is a kind of pass: Artist, Crew, Guest, VIP, Press, Security. Settings → Accreditation → Accreditation types.

Artist and Crew already exist and cannot be removed, because the system uses them for artists and crew. You can add up to ten of your own.

Per type you set:

SettingWhat it does
Name and colourThe colour is used everywhere: pills, tables, the door
Ticket imageThe image on the ticket for this type. Not set? The event's standard image is used
Check-in noteA short instruction the door staff sees when scanning this type ("check ID", "wristband at the desk")
Standard numberGrants this many to every artist at once, so you don't have to do it one by one
Applies toWhether the type behaves like an artist type, a crew type, or is neutral. This determines which sections show up in the briefing

Media accreditation

Media is separate, because press usually works differently: they are listed via an artist, they often have to sign an agreement, and you want to cap the total. Switch it on under Settings → Accreditation and you can set:

  • What you call it: Media, Press, Photographers, whatever fits.
  • How many slots artists get by default.
  • An agreement: a text with bullet points and a deadline that a media person must accept before they land on the real guest list.
  • A shared limit: you can link media to another type, so together they never exceed the number that artist was given for the day.

Parking

Switch parking on (Settings → Accreditation) and you can create parking types: VIP Parking, Crew Parking, Backstage. Up to ten.

A parking pass is a separate, scannable pass, not a note on someone's ticket. That means the gate at the car park scans just like the gate at the door.

  • Give a parking type a standard number per accreditation type, e.g. every Artist gets 2 and every Crew 1. Applied in one click.
  • Artist passes are valid on every day the artist is present. Guest passes are valid only for the day they belong to.
  • You can also let artists and guests hand out parking passes from their own briefing.
